Next Time, I’m Camping Out For A Week
Monday evening, as I was driving back from my Business and Digital Arts class, I decided to take 75 home instead of my usual route through Custer. While driving on 75, I saw the local Best Buy - and to my surprise, two tents sitting in front of the door. Now, I didn’t think much of it - I thought maybe they were getting some Wii’s in.
The next evening, however, the tents were still there - in fact there were a few more people out there and what seemed to be a line started to grow. At this point, I knew what it was - the line for the Black Friday sales. But seriously, these guys are starting 3-4 days early? Don’t you guys have family to have dinner with on Thanksgiving, or are you camping out with them in front of a store to save $5 on that mousepad you could have bought at the dollar store?
Some people don’t make sense to me.. like these guys (and girls). I mean seriously, you’re going to suffer for 3-4 days in the cold, missing school, work, and any other things you could have done… for a measly discount. People these days…
