Dave,

The e-mail counter is actually part of the homescreen. To remove it, you would need to edit the XML file associated with the homescreen. The file is located at \Application Data\Home\ THEME NAME.xml

Hello Samad,

I followed your instructions and am happy that the windows live email is now gone.....

On the home screen, the email message counter is still there next to the text message counter. it is the only remaining part of the the windows live email install. can i make this go away?

Thanks

Hi Samad,
I like your blog site and need some ideas for my website. I am a volunteer with the Islamic Center here and could use your expertise.

Hi Karen,

As far as I know, there is no built-in registry editor in Windows Mobile 6. The registry editor I used was a part of the Total Commander software found here: http://www.ghisler.com/smartphone.htm - its completely free. There's also a Mobile Registry editor that allows you to edit it from your PC instead of having to do it on your phone, but I can't seem to recall where to find it. Hope that helps!
